Mercados – Aries International is performing an assessment on the tariff levels in the Uruguayan electricity market. The assignment is to provide support to URSEA for the implementation of an efficient cost reflective tariff, by providing an analysis of the current regulations in Uruguay regarding levels and their adequacy, considering benchmarks with current practices in the world and taking in particular consideration the institutional and regulatory context and fiscal aspects.
