Mercados-Aries International will continue providing consultancy services in the Gambia!
This time, our team specialized in Utility Management will design and implement the performance mechanism for NAWEC (National Water and Electricity company), as well as will support its monitoring during the next 3 years. This assignment will also build capacity among the Directorate of Public-Private Partnerships & Public Enterprises (DPPP & PE) and The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) to perform this monitoring function.
This awarded project is financed by The World Bank, within the frame of the Gambia Electricity Restoration and Modernization Project (GERMP) which objectives are The Project Development Objectives are to (i) improve the operational performance of the Project Implementing Entity; and (ii) improve the capacity of the Project Implementing Entity to dispatch variable renewable electricity.
