Miguel A. Hernández, our CEO, is this week in Uzbekistan visiting stakeholders in the country together with our recently appointed Country Director, Shairbek Shertaev.
Uzbekistan’s economy is one of the most dynamic in the Eurasian region. The country is committed to further integrating its economy into the global market pursuing reforms that lead Uzbekistan toward sustainable development.
We aim to further contribute to its sustainable development in the energy and water sectors, as we have been doing for the last 10 years when we first landed to assist the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Central and West Asia Department in the preparation (due diligence) of the Namangan 500 kV Power Transmission Project in Uzbekistan. Since then multiple projects have been successfully developed for both public and private investors.
