Mercados – Aries International was awarded a project for the natural gas sector under the Energy Security Project (ESP) Umbrella, developed by USAid in Ukraine.
ESP aims to enhance Ukraine’s energy security, improve the energy legal and regulatory environment and increase the reliability of the energy supply to support sustainable economic growth.
This project, focused on the household segment of the Ukrainian natural gas retail market, is an international benchmark on six European countries: Czech Republic, Greece, France, Italy, Poland and Spain.
MAI’s objective is to provide insights from the liberalization process experiences that can be useful for the liberalization of the Ukrainian gas retail market.
