Construction of a 50 MW Floating PV Plant in a dam
We provided technical support for the construction of a 50 MW floating PV plant in the dam of the Da Mi hydroelectrical power plant.
The services included the review of the detailed engineering design, the inspect of the equipment manufacturing and its installation, and to supervise the construction and commissioning. The technology transfer and training provided by the REN’s experts to the local team contributed to the positive social impact and sustainability of this project.
Floating PV becomes a reasonable option in countries where available land is limited and there are lagoons where to install them.
