National Water And Electricity Co. Ltd (NAWEC) was established in June 1996 and is engaged in the generation and provision of electricity, water and sewerage services for domestic, public and industrial purposes.
The services provided by MAI team have two objectives:
- Design and implement a monitoring mechanism to assess the performance of NAWEC in relation to the Key Performance Indicators included in the 2021-2023 Performance Contract and
- Build capacity among State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Department at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs and PURA to effectively implement the monitoring mechanism of NAWEC’s 2021-2023 Performance Contract.
Establishing such monitoring mechanism will change the rationale from “what is happening?” to “why is this happening?”
