Consultancy contract for the preparation of the study of alternatives for the extension of a WTP.
The plant currently serves over 5 million inhabitants of drinking water, and it has a production capacity greater than 3,100,000 m3/day, and is one of the largest plants in the region, not only in size but in production capacity as well.
The purpose of this contract is to give the approach of three technical alternatives for the treatment process defining the aspects to be considered in the multi-criteria comparison of alternatives:
- hydraulic configuration
- technological assessment
- O&M
- CAPEX/OPEX
- Environmental and social issues
The final aim is to identify the best-valued solution for the expansion of the WTP
