Mercados – Aries International is assisting Mozambique’s newly created energy regulatory authority, ARENE, through the development of a Revenue Requirement Study. The scope involves a cost of service study that will allow determining the Revenue Requirement for the national utility (Electricidade de Moçambique), as well as a financial model to allow financial planning at utility-level, followed by recommendations on improvements to the existing tariff regime. The services include solid capacity buliding to the beneficiaries’ technical staff (ARENE, MIREME, MEF and EDM).
