The Southern African Power Pool (SAPP) and the Regional Energy Regulators Association of Southern Africa (RERA) have entrusted us to assist them in the development of the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Regional Guidelines and Standard Agreements that will support the development of the regional transmission capacity.
These guidelines and agreements pertain to project implementation, power purchase/supply, grid connection, and interconnection and will be a centerpiece for the safe, secure, and reliable operation of the regional SAPP grid while providing Market Participants and Market Service Providers with clear, transparent, and predictable rules to support regional power trading activity.
