We are happy and proud to inform that Mercados – Aries International recently started a new project called Network Development Plan (NDP) within the Energy Security Project (ESP) in Ukraine between Tetra Tech, as prime contractor and Mercados-Aries as subcontractor for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAid).
The project will provide an overview of the Ukraine Power System (UPS) and its future developments for the period 2022-2032. It will include technical and economic studies and simulations according to a range of development scenarios, as well as an assessment of the network adequacy, security and stability for the integration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and the interconnection processes with the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).
