On May 20th, a workshop organized by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MIREME) of Mozambique to discuss the future Energy Strategy of the country took place in Maputo.
Most of the key stakeholders of the different energy sectors were discussing over a full day the opportunities and the challenges that Mozambique faces in terms of energy transition and domestic and external use of its vast energy resources. The Workshop was facilitated by Leonardo Lupano and a team of international and local experts.
Mercados Aries International has been collaborating with MIREME in the preparation of the energy Strategy since 2020 and we are glad to see the involvement of the different institutions to finalize the preparation of such an important document.
